About the Course:

BMRIT is a specialized program that trains students to become radiology professionals capable of operating imaging equipment like X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound machines. At SIMS, students are trained in both theoretical radiological sciences and real-time imaging techniques under expert faculty. The program also covers patient care, radiation safety, and diagnostic procedures. With a strong practical focus, the course ensures students become competent in assisting medical practitioners with accurate image-based diagnosis.

Provides expertise in X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other medical imaging technologies for effective disease detection and treatment.

Basic Tools & Equipment:

• X-ray machine
• CT scan (demo unit)
• MRI (demo model)
• Ultrasound machine
• Film viewers
• Radiation safety gear (lead aprons, gloves)

Purpose:

Used to take internal body images like bones and organs to assist doctors in diagnosis.
